The Systems Support Office supports more than 550 users, 600 computers and 50 servers within two Vice Presidential divisions and Intercollegiate Athletics. Our clientele is unique in that we only support administrative/business employees and no faculty or students. This clearly-defined scope of clients allows Systems Support to deliver a consistent set of core services, develop and implement a standards-based computing plan across all supported areas and introduce technologies to all users at one time.
The units listed below span 20 on-campus buildings and three off-campus locations (two in Bloomington/Normal and one in Chicago).
All supported units make primary contact with Systems Support via the main office telephone line. The main line is staffed continuously from 7:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. on work days and is routed to a phone tree after hours. After-hours callers encounter a phone tree where one option allows instant access to the on-call technician's cellular phone.
