To exit the system entirely, type logoff, then hit Enter.
You should now be back to the VTAM/Switch logon screen, which you can close by clicking on the X in the top right corner of QWS3270 PLUS.
When you are done running the transaction, clear the screen. Usually the 'clear' command is mapped to the “Pause Break” key on the keyboard. You should now have a blank screen as shown below.
Then press the F12 key to end your CICS session. You should now be back at the VTAM/Switch menu as shown below.

To log off, type logoff at the Select Option ===> prompt.
